Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 September 2026
These terms govern the use of Doctor SOS, a service of Gariba IT Services Private Limited ("Gariba", "we"). By using Doctor SOS — as a hospital, a member of hospital staff, or a patient — you agree to them. If you use Doctor SOS on behalf of a hospital, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
1. The service
Doctor SOS provides appointment booking, OPD token and queue management, patient communication, digital prescriptions and reports, payment recording, and an audit timeline. Doctor SOS is an administrative tool. It does not give medical advice, and it does not replace the judgement of a registered medical practitioner. In a medical emergency, contact the hospital directly or call 112.
2. Hospitals
- The hospital is responsible for the accuracy of doctor details, timings, fees and the clinical content its staff enter, and for obtaining any consent the law requires from its patients.
- The hospital controls who in its team has access and with which role, and must remove access for people who leave.
- Subscription fees, billing period and any setup terms are as agreed in the hospital's order or invoice. Fees are payable in advance and exclusive of applicable taxes.
- Patient data entered by the hospital belongs to the hospital and its patients. On termination we will, on request, provide an export of the hospital's data and then delete it, subject to legal retention duties.
3. Staff accounts
Sign-in uses one-time codes sent to your registered email or mobile. Do not share codes. You are responsible for actions taken with your account. Every action is recorded on the hospital's audit timeline and cannot be deleted.
4. Patients
- Booking a slot or taking a token reserves your place in the doctor's queue; waiting times shown are estimates and can change if the doctor is delayed or an emergency arrives.
- Consultation fees are set by the hospital. Online payments are collected on the hospital's behalf; see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Please provide accurate details. Only book appointments for yourself or people you care for.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's data, disrupt or overload the platform, reverse-engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access that puts patients, hospitals or the platform at risk.
6. Automated assistance
When staff do not complete a routine task within its time window, Doctor SOS may complete it automatically (for example, sending an appointment reminder). Tasks that involve refunds, prescriptions or clinical judgement are never completed automatically. Hospitals can review every automated action on their timeline.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Doctor SOS available and take regular backups, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features; we will give hospitals reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce functionality.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Gariba is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to a hospital for any claim is limited to the fees it paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
A hospital may stop using Doctor SOS at the end of any billing period. We may suspend or end the service for non-payment or serious breach of these terms after notice.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the place of Gariba's registered office.
